えない vs. いきれない: Which is Stronger Meaning?

What is the difference between “えない and いきれない”? Which is a much stronger meaning? After reading this, you would be answering this question. Let me introduce what their subtle differences are and how you correctly use them such as native speakers today!

[wp-svg-icons icon=”checkmrk-circle” wrap=”i”] ___に(とは)えない (to-tsukiaenai)

[wp-svg-icons icon=”arrow-right-2″ wrap=”span”] I can’t deal with ___, I can’t get along with ___ / 无法来往 / 사귀기 어렵다 / không thể hẹn hò được

“___にえない” means “I can’t deal with ___ or I can’t get along with ___” which is used as the meaning of “you can’t cope anymore under someone’s circumstances.” You simply deny someone who pisses you off or you are annoyed with. You won’t be able to use this for a person who you just met, this word for your friends, family, boss, etc who you get along with or you know. When you put a person into ___, that tend to be “とはえない” and put a thing into ___, that tend to be “___にえない”. “ってられない” is a little bit stronger meaning of “えない”.

[/voice]

[wp-svg-icons icon=”checkmrk-circle” wrap=”i”] ___に(とは)いきれない (to-tsukiaikirenai)

[wp-svg-icons icon=”arrow-right-2″ wrap=”span”] I’m tired of ___ / 无法继续来往 / 사귈 수 없다 / không thể hòa hợp, không chịu nổi nữa

“___いきれない” means “I’m tired of ___” which is used as the meaning of “to have experienced too much of someone with the result that you are annoyed”. You strongly deny someone who really pisses you off or you are so annoyed with. You won’t be able to also use this for a person who you just met, this word for your friends, family, boss, etc who you get along with or you know. For instance, suddenly your friend’s act was something wrong and you are so annoyed with him/her, in this case, you would be able to use “___いきれない”, that means the end of a friendship. Although using “___えない” is not still the end of the friendship, that may be so for the future, if his/her act won’t change. When you put a person into ___, that tend to be “とはいきれない” and put a thing into ___, that tend to be “___にいきれない” as well. However, if you say this casual, that would be casual.
