What’s the difference between 趣味 and 好きなこと?

Rei

趣味 implies a regular hobby you actively do. 好きなこと is anything you like — could be a passive preference like eating good food. For hobbies you regularly practice, 趣味 is the right word. 最近ハマっていることは〜です (I’ve been really into 〜 lately) is also very natural!

How do I say “I’ve recently gotten into…”?

Rei

最近〜にハマっています is perfect! 最近、コーヒーを自分で淹れることにハマっています。 — I’ve recently gotten into brewing my own coffee. ハマる (to get hooked) is very natural and widely used in casual conversation.
