Mistake 2: Using Dictionary Form Instead of て-Form for Sequences

(To chain actions: use the て-form! 「家に帰って、ご飯を食べた」)
In English, “I went home and ate dinner” uses “and.” In Japanese, the て-form carries the sequential meaning — not と or that つなぎ.

てください is a direct request. For formal or polite contexts, soften it:
