Lie down / 躺下。 / 눕다. / Ngả lưng, nằm
When you describe that “to move into a position in which your body is flat, usually in order to sleep or rest”, you would be able to use “横になる。(yoko ni naru)” which means “Lie down”. Everybody could use this in daily conversations as casual. “横になります。(yoko ni nari masu)” is used as polite and formal.
