The difference between “ツレ and ダチ” is that “ダチ” is an abbreviation for “ともだち” as their best friends and which is used among rather bad boys who are teenagers. “ツレ” has two meanings and one is the meaning of “friend” the same as “ダチ”, however, “ダチ” is the much rude word than “ツレ”. Although “ツレ” is such a little bit show-off word, it depends on the people. And the other is not used as the meaning of “the show-off word”, which is basically used at the restaurants as in being asked “how many in your party?”, then you would say “連れがあと二人います” as the meaning of “having two more people in your party”.
