ける。(kakeru)

Bet / 打赌。 / 내기하다 / đặt cược.

When you want to describe “to risk money on the result of an event or a competition, such as a horse race, in the hope of winning more money”, you would be able to use “ける。(kakeru)” which means “Bet”. Everybody could use this in daily conversations as casual and “けます。(kake masu)” is used as polite and formal.
