[wp-svg-icons icon=”arrow-right-2″ wrap=”span”] 3 weeks ago / 3周前 / 3주 전 / 3 tuần trước

3週間前さんしゅうかんまえ” is correct which means “3 weeks ago” and we don’t normally use “3週前さんしゅうまえ” which is unnatural. The basic way to use it is “わたし3週間前さんしゅうかんまえに___をした。(I ___ 3 weeks ago.)”, etc. For instance, “わたし3週間前さんしゅうかんまえにテニスをした。(I played tennis 3 weeks ago.)”, “わたし3週間前さんしゅうかんまえ友達ともだちとテニスをした。(I played tennis with my friends 3 weeks ago.)”, “わたし3週間前さんしゅうかんまえほんんだ。(I read a book 3 weeks ago.)”, etc. Again, you won’t be able to use “3週前さんしゅうまえ” such as “わたし3週前さんしゅうまえほんんだ。” which is wrong. Everyone could use “3週間前さんしゅうかんまえ” as casual, polite and formal such as “3週間前さんしゅうかんまえにテニスをしたよ。(I played tennis 3 weeks ago.)” as casual and “3週間前さんしゅうかんまえにテニスをしました。(I played tennis 3 weeks ago.)” as polite and formal. Additionally, “1週間前いっしゅうかんまえ” is correct, “1週前いっしゅうしゅうまえ” is wrong and “2週間前にしゅうかんまえ” is correct, “2週前にしゅうしゅうまえ” is wrong and “1カ月前いっかげつまえ” is correct, “1月前いちがつまえ” is wrong and “2カ月前にかげつまえ” is correct, “2月前にがつまえ” is wrong.
