Effective Usage Guide of 成長(Growth,Progress)

“成長(seityou)” means “Growth and Progress” which is a noun, the verb of “成長” is “成長する(grow)” and the adjective of “成長” is “成長した(grown)”. The basic ways to use them are that “___の成長(___ growth/progress)”, “___は成長する(___ grow)”, “成長した___(grown ___)”. For instance, “私の成長(my growth/progress)”, “私は成長する。(I grow.)” and “成長した女性(a grown woman)”. The verb conjugation of 成長する is 成長します, 成長する, 成長しない, 成長した, 成長しなかった. 成長 is used not only for people, but it also is used for plants, companies, economy, countries, eras, hormones, mind, personality and etc.
