びます vs. 電話でんわします: Which Do You Use A Telephone?

“びます” means “Call” and which has been used as the basic meaning of “to say something in a loud voice, because you are trying to attract someone’s attention”. The basic way to use it is “わたしは___をびます。(I call ___.)”. For instance, “わたしは「おーい!こっちだよ!」と友達ともだちびます。(I call my friends “Hey! Over here!” .)”, etc. This is the basic way to use it and ”びます” has a lot of meanings as well as English. The tips for using it is that although “びます” means “to call”, it hasn’t been used as the meaning of “電話でんわする”. Both of them are different from each other. “___に電話でんわする” means “Call ___ (on the phone)” and which has been used as the meaning of “to use a phone to talk to someone:”. The basic way to use it is “わたしは___に電話でんわをする。(I call ___.)”, etc. For instance, “わたしはたつや___に電話でんわをします。(I call Tatsuya.)”, etc. The tips for using it is “to call someone ON THE PHONE”. Although both “ぶ” and “電話でんわする” mean “to call”, “電話でんわする” has the only meaning “to call ___ on the phone”. The phone is necessary in using “電話でんわする”. Everyone could use this both in daily conversations and business situations as well.

You would be able to use as two meanings. Even if you aren’t going out with a person who you like, you may go out with him/her soon after several dates. Lastly, “デート” is a noun and “デートする” is a verb.
