When you want to say “It’s better than nothing.”, you would be able to use “ないよりマシだよ。(naiyori mashi dayo)”. Everybody could use this in daily conversations as casual and “ないよりマシですよ。(naiyori mashi desuyo)” is used as polite and “ないよりはいいです。(naiyori yori wa ii desu)” as formal.
