When you want to describe “appreciation for a person who came to your house, an event, etc”, you would be able to use “来きてくれてありがとう。(kitekurete arigatou)” which means “Thank you for coming.”. Everybody could use this in daily conversations as casual and “来きてくれてありがとうございます。(kitekurete arigatou gozaimasu)” is used as polite and formal.
