The Complete Guide To Use “sorezore”, “kaku”, and “onoono” Easily

The Complete Guide To Use それぞれ, かく and 各々おのおの Easily

それぞれ (sorezore), かく (kaku) and 各々おのおの(onoono) make you complicated, isn’t it? There are subtle differences. By figuring these out, you will be able to hear these words. Let me introduce how you easily figure these out today!

それぞれ (sorezore), かく (kaku) and 各々おのおの (onoono)

“それぞれ (sorezore), かく (kaku) and 各々おのおの(onoono)” mean “Each”. Although それぞれ and かく have been used for people and things, 各々おのおの has been used for only people which means 各々おのおの is Each PERSON. That is not 各々おのおのひと. So “各々おのおの” includes “PERSON(ひと)” whereas “それぞれ and かく” don’t include it. “それぞれのひと” and “各々おのおの” are the same meaning. “各々おのおの” sounds a little bit formal than それぞれのひと” though. The way to use them that “それぞれのひとちがかおです。(Each person’s face is different.)” and “各々おのおのちがかおです。(Each person’s face is different.)”. Again それぞれ is more casual than 各々おのおの. Further, the difference between それぞれ and かく is that それぞれ can be used as a noun, however, かく can’t be used as a noun, so after using かく, you have to put nouns such as 各100円かくひゃくえん(Each 100 yen), 各県かくけん(each prefecture), 各地かくち(each place), etc.
